PHOENIX (PRWEB) May 31, 2018 -- SmartRent.com, Inc today announced it has received a $1.5M seed round in venture financing, bringing the total raised to over $5M and helping the company introduce groundbreaking enterprise smart home automation technology to property managers and residents worldwide. The round was led by Real Estate Technology Ventures (RETV), a real estate industry-backed early-stage venture firm formed to invest in and help build the real estate industry’s next generation of high quality technology and service providers. RETV is backed primarily by large owners of multifamily and single-family rental properties, representing nearly 500,000 units.
The SmartRent platform connects hardware with proprietary web and mobile software to streamline operations, enhance the resident experience, and provide owners a digital layer of asset protection. The system is flexible and easy to implement in any property type at any stage, whether it’s a ground-up development, retrofit, high-rise or garden style property.
