Counsel Financial, the trusted leader in law firm financing, announced today that it is set to present at two upcoming progressive events for the plaintiffs’ bar.

Founder and Special Counsel, Felice Callahan, Esq., has been selected as a panelist for a pioneering joint-coordination conference hosted by the Emory Institute for Complex Litigation. The event is set to take place at UC Berkeley’s School of Law on June 5, 2018. Prominent judges will impart knowledge on the latest hot topics in litigation via a “fireside-chat” format facilitated by some of the nation’s preeminent attorneys and neutrals. A portion of the discussion will focus on the growing area of disclosure of litigation financing, along with new rules governing multi-district litigation, advertising and retention issues and many other current matters.

Of the opportunity, Ms. Callahan stated, “I am honored to be a part of this ground-breaking conference. I believe that the unique mix of attorneys, neutrals and judges will only serve to enhance the value of the information that is expounded.”

Concurrently, Founder and Director Joseph DiNardo, Esq. will be a featured speaker at the Connectionology Seminars of America program, held in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 3 – 5, 2018. Mr. DiNardo will speak on “Funding your Law Firm and Funding Your Cases: How and Where to Obtain the Funds and Learning the Wisdom of Strategic Spending,” a topic essential to running a law firm as a successful business. His talk will encourage careful consideration of the financing options available to plaintiffs’ attorneys and call attention to the mindset that operating a law firm should be viewed as a business venture alongside the provision of justice to its clients.

“My discussion at the Connectionology seminar will afford attorneys an opportunity to expand the way they view their firms. Adequate financing is as necessary to a law firm as it is to any other business. Taking the time to step back and recognize this, then thoughtfully consider the best options available, provides the opportunity to enhance both your practice of law and the operation of your business,” states Mr. DiNardo.

The company’s services extend beyond financing to include assistance with budgeting and financial analysis, industry insight and co-counsel introductions for its clients.
