Appnovation Appoints Andrew Dunbar as General Manager for Europe
VANCOUVER, British Columbia (PRWEB) June 05, 2018 -- Digital services and solutions provider Appnovation this week announced the hiring of Andrew Dunbar as the new General Manager and Vice President for the company’s European region.
With over 20 years of experience in digital platforms, marketing, business development and operational leadership, Mr. Dunbar comes into the role with an extensive background in his field.
As GM of Europe, Mr. Dunbar will oversee the alignment of the European region in line with the Appnovation global strategy, the building of the company in that region, identifying strategic growth opportunities, and positioning the company as the chosen partner for current and new clients. Prior to joining Appnovation, Mr. Dunbar was the Chief Operating Officer for Mirum Agency, in the European region. He was brought on board to help drive rapid growth path in the UK office, along with aligning and developing the wider European capability. The role also involved the creation of delivery and financial reports, as well as building a leadership team to successfully grow the UK business.
Before his successful stint at Mirum, Mr. Dunbar served as Chief Operating Officer for Brilliant Basics, a global product studio that came from start-up to being bought by Infosys in 2017. Additionally, he led his team across multiple markets, from the UAE to Singapore, developing new business, creating operational controls, and executing the company’s growth plan.
Since the acquisition of European firm Wunderkraut Benelux, Appnovation has continued to grow their presence in the continent. The GM appointment represents another step towards further expansion in terms of clients, service offerings, and a larger employee base in the region.
