Rowling & Associates, a leading independent wealth management firm announced today that the firm’s CEO and Founder, Sheryl Rowling, has been named a finalist in the prestigious 2018 wealthmanagement.com Industry Awards Program in a newly formed category designed to recognize innovation from executive leaders of independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firms.

Rowling recently led the development of a new investment strategy and research platform available to independent RIAs on an outsourcing basis. The new service platform called “InStrategy,” provides RIAs with an affordable, turnkey, investment strategy and research service that includes recommended asset allocation models, mutual fund research, ESG strategies, ongoing updates for changes and tax loss harvesting opportunities, capital gain avoidance distribution guidance, along with client communications that can be separately white-labeled with the advisor’s branding.

“Advisors we have worked with continue to seek out ways to be able to serve more clients with fewer resources,” said Rowling. “Investment management can be a costly, time-intensive process to manage in-house for many firms, and through our decades of experience managing client portfolios at Rowling & Associates, we have developed an efficient, prudent process that we are excited to share with the industry.”

Rowling was short-listed for the category of Individual RIA Firm Leader – Innovator of the Year by a judging panel of luminaries from across the wealth management industry for, “the development of new initiatives to help advisors run a better business, enhance service to clients, change how advice is delivered and help transform the wealth management industry for the better this past year.”

Over 600 nominations were received in the 2018 wealthmanagement.com Awards Program, showcasing how important and critical this recognition program has become in the industry.

“We’ve had a very strong reception for InStrategy and I am extremely honored and excited to be named a finalist,” said Rowling. “We look forward to celebrating the success of the independent RIA industry at the gala event in New York City in September where the winners will be announced.”
