Northern Virginia Technology Council Announces 2018 Greater Washington Technology CFO Award Winners
HERNDON, Va. (PRWEB) June 05, 2018 -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) announced the winners of the 22nd Annual Greater Washington Technology CFO Awards last night at a ceremony held at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. The CFO Awards recognize local chief financial officers for outstanding achievement and excellence in promoting the area's technology community.
In addition, NVTC honored industry leader Todd Headley for his contributions to the Greater Washington tech community with the Michael G. Devine Hall of Fame Award.
The winners are as follows:
Private Company CFO of the Year: Jennifer Felix, Vencore
Jennifer Felix is senior vice president and CFO at Vencore. Felix is responsible for all aspects of Vencore’s financial functions, including accounting, compliance, tax, treasury, reporting, planning and analysis. She also leads the development and implementation of financial strategies across the enterprise. Previously, Felix served as executive vice president and CFO at Sotera Defense Solutions, Inc.; director for IS&T and M&A planning at General Dynamics; and vice president of finance and corporate controller at Deltek.
Public Company CFO of the Year: Mark Lynch, Appian
Mark Lynch has served as CFO of Appian since 2008 and is responsible for overseeing all of Appian’s financial activity. Lynch also serves as Appian’s principal accounting officer. Previously, Lynch served as CFO at MicroStrategy; CFO at World Airways; and vice president of finance at Intellidata. Lynch was named CFO of the Year by Washington Business Journal in 2010.
Emerging Growth CFO of the Year: Adrian Muniz, Logi Analytics
Adrian Muniz is CFO of Logi Analytics. Muniz brings more than 20 years of leadership experience within a range of technology companies, including Novell, e-Security, Inc., Brabeion Software and Icarus Corporation. Muniz is currently on the Advisory Board of Senseware, a McLean, Va. startup. He is a Certified Public Accountant and CharterGlobal Management Accountant.
Division/Group CFO of the Year: Christine Bailey, Accenture Federal Services
Christine Bailey is CFO of Accenture Federal Services and leads all financial management and compliance activities. Before joining Accenture Federal Services in 2012, Bailey held senior finance roles where she was responsible for finance, accounting, business management, contracts, procurement, pricing, regulatory compliance, internal audit and treasury.
