Pink Elephant Launches The Industry’s Most Business-Focused DevOps Leadership™ Certification Course
BURLINGTON, ON (PRWEB) June 05, 2018 -- Pink Elephant is pleased to announce the addition of the DevOps Leadership certification course to their DevOps training portfolio. This course, designed by Pink Elephant’s expert leadership consultants, builds on the learnings from DevOps Essentials™, including the unique “Full Stack” approach to DevOps and the 15 must-have practices.
“Many IT organizations are not able to take the right business steps towards a true DevOps transformation,” said Troy DuMoulin, VP, Research & Development, Pink Elephant. “Pink’s DevOps Leadership course is very different and unlike competitors’ offerings, which take a simplistic and very operational view of Leadership, ours walks IT leaders through the newly created 20/20 Integrated Change Management model that provides missing pieces needed to move the transformation dial all the way up to realizing the full business benefits of DevOps!”
20/20 Vision
Unlike other DevOps courses, DevOps Leadership will introduce Pink Elephant’s 20/20 Integrated Change Management approach, an innovative perspective to help leaders and organizations clearly see the complete path to a successful DevOps transformation.
The Full Stack Of DevOps
DevOps Leadership will further explore the unique approach to DevOps known as the “Full Stack”. Introduced in DevOps Essentials, this approach demystifies DevOps and looks at building a collaborative environment between Operations and Development with special emphasis on people and culture, processes and practices, and automation technologies. Combined with the key learnings from the 15 essential practices of DevOps, the course will provide IT leaders with the next steps to establish a culture of collaboration to effectively manage the Full Stack.
A Customized Roadmap
Attendees will also leverage the DevOps assessment tool first introduced in DevOps Essentials to assess the maturity of their current DevOps journey and based on their future vision, design and implement a customized roadmap to lead cross-functional teams focused on innovation and collaboration to drive business value.
The course will also cover:
- Understanding the major phases of a DevOps transformation
- Establishing a culture of engagement and collaboration
- Leveraging the Three Ways to take advantage of Lean, Agile and DevOps practices to improve flow, feedback and experimentation
- Selecting the correct service and project management approach from within the enterprise portfolio of services
The three-day course prepares students for the examination leading to the DevOps Leadership Certificate, granted by the Professional Designations Corp. The DevOps Essentials Certification is a prerequisite for this course. Individuals who have taken a DevOps certification from an Examination Institute other than Professional Designations can contact Pink Elephant for free access to the DevOps Essentials self-paced course (with purchase of a DevOps Leadership course).
