Kurt Mulson, a graduate of the University of Denver who was raised in London, England and Miami, Florida and served as a police officer for the town of Vail, Colorado for thirty years, has completed his book “Cops Are Human Too”: a collection of short stories and anecdotes from a long and eventful career in law enforcement.
The author and his immediate family live in Eagle County, Colorado. It is better known to the world as the Vail Valley. Vail’s reputation for its natural beauty and outdoor activities all year long is well deserved. It brings people from all over the world to visit or live. As with any town or city, there are some not-so-nice people. There is always a dark underside, and this was what the author dealt with during his thirty-year career in Vail.
The author realized early in his career that although the police work was difficult, dangerous, and stressful, it also had a humorous side. This led to the author keeping notes in these humorous situations over the years, which led to the writing of this book.
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Kurt Mulson’s book is an enjoyably riveting behind-the-scenes ride in a Colorado police car as Vail’s finest worked to keep the city and its inhabitants and visitors safe.
Readers who wish to experience this engaging work can purchase “Cops Are Human Too” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
