Futuristic Hip-Hop-Inspired Talkbox, ElectroSpit ESX-1, Makes its Debut Worldwide
LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) June 05, 2018 -- A traditional talkbox is made of five pieces, which are all sold separately. The ElectroSpit ESX-1 combines all of the pieces into one small instrument designed to be worn around the neck with ease. The talkbox gets its signal from a standard instrument, like a guitar or keyboard, then runs that sound through a plastic tube. The performer inserts the tube into their mouth and uses their mouth and lips to shape the sound into words; no actual singing is required. The method itself requires a lot of external hardware, which makes a portable invention like the ESX-1 all the more intriguing. In stark contrast, Auto-Tune simply manipulates an existing vocal track. Auto-Tune is pitch correction, whereas a talkbox is an instrument.
The mission of ElectroSpit is to break down the barriers of music creation. ElectroSpit ESX-1 services the population that lacks the appropriate amount of time or resources for expensive equipment and lessons.
