The reactions and interest ElectroSpit has garnered from so many amazing artists, like David Guetta and Terrace Martin to Skrillex and Teddy Riley, has been astonishing and opened many doors for this company.

A traditional talkbox is made of five pieces, which are all sold separately. The ElectroSpit ESX-1 combines all of the pieces into one small instrument designed to be worn around the neck with ease. ElectroSpit has made the sound of the talkbox more accessible by eliminating the set-up, reducing the learning curve and making it shareable. Today, Kante and his team launched ElectroSpit ESX-1 on Kickstarter in the hopes of raising $40,000 to cover manufacturing costs.

The talkbox gets its signal from a standard instrument, like a guitar or keyboard, then runs that sound through a plastic tube. The performer inserts the tube into their mouth and uses their mouth and lips to shape the sound into words; no actual singing is required. The method itself requires a lot of external hardware, which makes a portable invention like the ESX-1 all the more intriguing. In stark contrast, Auto-Tune simply manipulates an existing vocal track. Auto-Tune is pitch correction, whereas a talkbox is an instrument.

The mission of ElectroSpit is to break down the barriers of music creation. ElectroSpit ESX-1 services the population that lacks the appropriate amount of time or resources for expensive equipment and lessons. The device allows consumers to artfully express themselves through music creation at a low cost. The ESX-1 allows both professional and non-professional music creators to unlock their musical creativity and imagination in ways that weren't possible before. Keyboardists, guitarists and even iPhone music creators can now take center stage and perform lead vocals.

“I'm excited by the momentum ElectroSpit is building within the music community,” said Co-Founder and CEO Bosko Kante. “The reactions and interest ElectroSpit has garnered from so many amazing artists, like David Guetta and Terrace Martin to Skrillex and Teddy Riley, has been astonishing and opened many doors for this company. I'm also excited to put the ESX-1 in peoples hands and hear what they create with it. This project launches our company to a new level where we can deliver more instruments and tools to help people unlock their musical talent,” said Co-Founder and CMO Maya Kante.

Complete with a star-studded Kickstarter campaign video, consumers and artists alike can pre-order ElectroSpit ESX-1 starting at just $147. To learn more, or to pre-order, visit http://bit.ly/ElectroSpitKS.
