Delphi Construction Begins Work on Outer Cape Health Services Facility in Harwich Port
MASHPEE, Mass. (PRWEB) June 06, 2018 -- Multi-Market Construction Management company Delphi Construction announced today that work has begun on the comprehensive renovation and conversion of a building formerly housing a local grocery market to become a community health center in Harwich Port.
The project owner is Outer Cape Health Services, a federally-qualified community health center serving the Lower and Outer Cape with locations in Harwich, Wellfleet and Provincetown.
When completed, the 2 story, 18,000 square foot facility will provide Outer Cape Health Services with 18 new examination and consultation rooms, a dispensing pharmacy, Lab drawing facilities, a community wellness space, administrative offices supporting specialized services for Women Infants and Children (WIC) along with health insurance eligibility and enrollment services for the community.
Delphi will manage all aspects of construction on the $6-plus million project. Design of the new facility was provided by DBVW Architects, Inc. with Civil Engineering from Coastal Engineering Company. The Owner’s Project Manager is DEC Consulting Company LLC.

Relocating and expanding the existing Harwich facility enables OCHS to meet growing healthcare needs by providing new and essential services to more people.”
Construction is expected to be completed by late September.
