An Evening of Honey: 7th Annual Global Day of Discovery
ASHEVILLE, NC. (PRWEB) June 05, 2018 -- Join Renaissance Asheville Hotel, http://www.renaissanceasheville.com and Center for Honeybee Research, http://www.honeybeeresearch.org for the Black Jar Honey Tasting and Cocktail Event to celebrate Renaissance Global Day of Discovery.
Beekeepers from all over the world submit their honey samples for judging. Since the taste of honey varies from the different regions around the world, all the honeys taste different. 30 worldwide varieties of honey go through taste tests and you can be part of the public judging.
At this event you can taste all the honeys, listen to some great live music, dance and enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres. Come learn more about bees, their importance in the environment, and how you can help. Tickets may be purchased in advance at http://www.honeybeeresearch.org or may be purchased at the event.
There’s no another species on the planet which causes less damage or gives back more than it takes from its ecosystem, than honeybees and we are celebrating their existence.
The Renaissance Asheville Hotel has urban bee hives on their roof, which will be visible from the event. Please visit Renaissance Asheville Hotel Facebook to help name the new queen.
The event starts at 5:30 pm in the Top of the Plaza, 12th floor or the Renaissance Asheville Hotel. We hope to see you there!
