Tiff’s Treats Expands Growing Team with Stars Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker to Join as Investors
(PRWEB) June 14, 2018 -- Tiff’s Treats, the Austin-based company that created the warm cookie delivery concept, is excited to announce that husband and wife team Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker will make their love for Tiff’s Treats official by coming on as shareholders and ambassadors, joining an impressive roster of leading industry executives. The philanthropic couple has been long time customers and brand loyalists of Tiff’s Treats through their mutual love and commitment to the Austin community and in particular, through Tiff’s Treats’ support of the Andy Roddick Foundation. Mr. Roddick attended the Tiff’s Treats Steiner Ranch grand opening this past December and all of sales from that day went to the Andy Roddick Foundation.
Primed for national retail expansion with a recent $25 million round of funding led by Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital, Tiff’s Treats is thrilled to have Roddick and Decker behind their brand as they grow the company’s presence and retail footprint nationally. “We feel so privileged to have these two talented Austinites on our team,” shares co-founder Tiffany Chen. “Andy and Brooklyn have been customers of ours for years. We admire the work they have done through their foundation (ARF) serving underprivileged families in the Austin community and together we hope to continue this mission that is very much in sync with our core philosophy of giving back to our local community,” shares Chen. “We are extremely honored to have Andy and Brooklyn join our team and help introduce our concept to new customers nationwide,” shares co-founder Leon Chen.
Andy Roddick has been a fan of the brand since visiting the first University of Texas location almost 20 years ago; he converted his wife the moment she visited Austin. “Tiff’s Treats is the reason I chose to move to Austin, Andy’s a close second,” said Brooklyn. “We couldn’t be more excited to join the Tiffs Treats team! What Tiff and Leon have built is impressive, and it’s just the beginning. To go from fans of the brand to minority owners is a dream for us. Brooklyn and I look forward to sharing the Tiff’s experience with the rest of the country as we grow,” shares Andy Roddick.
The star couple will round out a very seasoned team of investors and advisors that includes the current mayor of Dallas, and former executives at Starbucks, Whole Foods, Papa Johns, and Pizza Hut. The couple will take an active role in supporting Tiff’s Treats at events and organizations they are personally involved with, in Austin as well as nationally. They plan on being an integral part of the brand’s national growth plan.
Tiff’s Treats currently has 40 locations throughout Texas, Georgia and Tennessee and are opening new locations each month. With big plans on the horizon for 2019, there will be several exciting initiatives that the star couple will have an opportunity to shine. Roddick and Decker have already announced that they will be co-hosting a Tiff’s Treats sponsored party at SXSW in 2019 with co-founders Tiffany and Leon Chen. In addition to many warm cookies, this event will include live music acts.
