When she was just a young girl, Sunnie D. Kidd experienced a “phenomenon.” Later, in 1970, after studying philosophy, she coined the term “Inbetweenness” to describe the phenomenon that she experienced. To further explain what the term means, together with Jim Kidd, she releases “Inbetweenness: A Meditative Approach to Everyday Life” (published by Xlibris).

In summary, “Inbetweenness” is the spiritual dimension where everything is connected and inclusive. It is philosophy written in an understandable, everyday language. Readers will make connections and be able to implement what they come to understand, which will help them live in a meaningful way.
According to the authors, “Inbetweenness” can be experienced on the personal scale as a shared spiritual dimension that connects everyone and everything. This is the same field of energy that saints, mystics, Buddhists, yogis, priests, shamans and seers have experienced by looking within themselves.
The book enables the readers to make meaningful connections by elucidating the meaningfulness of it all. “Our world is in constant chaos. This book shows the reader that there is a better way of living. When the meaningfulness of life is realized, the world will no longer suffer wars, murder and the negative reality we constantly create,” the authors share.
An excerpt from the book reads:
Dimensional arc is an overarching image of what Inbetweenness is, how it can be understood, where it can be found and how its inclusiveness reflects an interflowing spirituality Inbetween persons. It brings together all of the various aspects of Inbetweenness, weaving it into a holistic and inclusive dimension of human spirituality as it moves in and through all other dimensions of existence.
