According to author Marcelline Moore, many people often feel weighed down by the belief that society is spiraling toward selfishness. But if you know where to look, Moore posits there are gifts of kindness all around.
Moore’s new book, “I Saw an Angel Today: An Earth Angel’s Discovery” (published by Balboa Press), offers a collection of observations – stories Moore has witnessed from watching others and learned about from reading the news. The stories shared highlight everyday compassionate people whose good-natured characters effect positive change in others’ lives, often without realizing it.
Moore refers to the people she writes about in her book as “earth angels.” She explains, “They are everyday people unknowingly affecting others by opening their hearts, sharing their gifts, following their passion, and offering their mind, body, and soul to others. They are musical, historical, spiritual, and global events involving work, family and friends, celebrities, health and wellness, and anonymous angels.”
Ultimately, Moore hopes “I Saw an Angel Today” will help readers gain some optimism and lead healthier, more peaceful lives. She adds, “People just need to change their focus and their perceptions will change and their fears will fall away.”
