“The name Danby has served us well for 70 years. If Julia Stewart is open to selling us their old signs, we’ll gladly change our name to dOHI.” - Jim Estill, CEO Danby Appliances

“The name Danby has served us well for 70 years. If Julia Stewart is open to selling us their old signs, we’ll gladly change our name to dOHI,” said Estill earlier today. “Danby is a frugal company and we figure we can turn the IHOP signs upside down. Also, the smile about the name resonates well with us."

Estill is leaving the ball in Stewart’s court, “This could be win-win for Danby and IHOb, and I hope she reaches out.” Estill says he’ll be waiting by the phone to find out if IHOb is open for business.
