HSNO Seattle Office Celebrates Journey of Staff Accountant from Intern to CPA
SEATTLE (PRWEB) June 11, 2018 -- Brenden Howell, an employee at Hagen, Streiff, Newton & Oshiro (HSNO), an international leader in forensic accounting, investigation, litigation support and consulting, recently earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the state of Washington.
Prior to joining HSNO’s team in 2016, Howell attended The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, California, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. From there, he joined HSNO as an intern in the Seattle office and then became a full-time accountant for the firm in April 2017. This year, Howell earned his CPA License, which requires successfully passing all four sections of the Uniform CPA Exam as required by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
“We are so proud of Brenden and his accomplishment,” said Christopher Money, Partner and COO of HSNO. “We look forward to his continued success and growth within the firm. We know he will continue to be an extremely valuable asset to the Seattle office, as proven by the focus and dedication it has taken to earn his CPA License.”
As an added benefit for passing his CPA License Exam requirements, Howell also received a $5,000.00 bonus from HSNO. This is a program the firm started in 2016 as a way of inspiring and rewarding those accountants willing to put in the extra work required to officially earn their CPA License.
Howell looks to continue expanding his role within the HSNO Seattle office by putting his education and CPA License to work for the firm’s clientele. “At HSNO, we are dedicated to doing what’s best for our clients and earning the CPA certification positions me to serve them with greater capacity and confidence,” said Howell.
