Westin Hotels & Resorts Debuts First Location in Carlsbad with Panoramic Views of the Coastline

Opening July 12, 2018, The Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa will feature 208 rooms, including 28 exquisitely appointed suites with stunning ocean views; a signature restaurant offering farm-fresh ingredients; a luxury spa and state-of-the-art fitness center; and private rooftop terrace with unmatched panoramic views of the coastline.
The property’s bold Mediterranean-inspired architecture and lush botanicals create a seaside oasis perfect for business and leisure travelers alike. Guest rooms and suites range in size up to 1,309 square feet, feature a color palette of coastal hues and include modern textiles, furniture and ocean-inspired artwork.

Named for its picture-perfect views of the Pacific coastline, 20|Twenty Grill, located at the Westin Resort, will be operated by Chef Eddie Zamora. Chef Eddie brings an extensive background in hotel and resort culinary programs, holding various positions throughout his career – from pastry chef to chef de cuisine. The 5,200 square-foot restaurant will offer farm-fresh ingredients, craft cocktails – some even available on tap – and an expansive outdoor dining terrace with fire pits and ocean breezes. Other restaurants on the property include the brand new 7 Mile Kitchen, featuring hand-crafted pizzas, local beer and gelato made with locally sourced ingredients, along with a selection of casual eateries.
A leader in wellness, the WestinWORKOUT® fitness studio allows guests to stay motivated on the road with 24-hour access to state-of-the-art equipment, including TRX functional training gear. As part of the Westin Gear Lending program, guests can also pack light and still stay fit with New Balance workout gear delivered directly to rooms upon request for a nominal fee.
