Justices of the US Supreme Court are Sued for a Declarative Relief of Impeachment by a California Attorney Regarding their Relationship with the American Inns of Court
WASHINGTON, D.C. (PRWEB) June 21, 2018 -- This is a historical lawsuit against 65 defendants (60 named Defendants and 5 named Doe Defendants), and the Plaintiff is seeking declarative relief to impeach 8 Justices at the U.S. Supreme Court (Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Associate Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, Associate Justice Clarence Thomas, Associate Justice Ruth Bader Jinsburg, Associate Justice Stephen Beyer, Associate Justice Samuel Alito, Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayer, Associate Justice Elena Kagan), 1 federal judge at 9th Circuit Court of Appeal (Judge J. Clifford Wallace, designer of the American Inns of Court), 2 federal Judges at US District Court in Northern California (Judge Edward Davila and Judge Lucy H. Koh) and 15 California State Justices, Judges and a Commissioner.
The 15 California State Judicial officers who are sued for declarative relief of impeachment include: Chief Justice Cantil-Sakauye at California Supreme Court, 5 Justices at California Sixth District Court of appeal (Presiding Justice Conrad Rushing who was retired on December 31, 2017, new Presiding Justice Mary J. Greenwood, Justice Patricia Bamattre-Manoukian, Justice Eugene Premo, Justice Franklin Elia and Justice Adrienne Grover), and 9 judges/commissioner at Superior Court of California in Santa Clara County (Presiding Judge Patricia Lucas, Judge Rise Pichon, Judge Theodore Zayner, Judge Mary Ann Grilli, Judge Joshua Weinstein, Judge Maureen Folan, Judge Peter Kirwan, Judge Beth McGowen, Commissioner Gregory Sardivar).
In addition to the 26 judicial officers, there are 4 courts, their Clerk's Offices and some clerks also sued as defendants, including U.S. Supreme Court, Supervising Clerk Jeff Atkins and Supervising Clerk Jordan Bickell, California Supreme Court, California Sixth District Court of Appeal and its Clerk's Office.
As for the Superior Court of California in Santa Clara County, in addition to 8 Judges and 1 Commissioner, the Court itself, its in-house attorney Lisa Herrick, Family Court Services Director Sarah Scofield and its Screener Jill Sardeson and the Court's Appellate Unit Deputy Clerk Rebecca Delgodo and her supervisor Susan Walker are also sued as defendants. Santa Clara County Superior Court's prior CEO, and present CEO for the Orange County Court, David Yamasaki, is also sued.
American Inns of Court, The Honorable William A. Ingram American Inn of Court and San Francisco Bay Area Intellectual Property Rights American Inn of Court are also being sued by Ms. Shao in this complaint. American Inns of Court's leading attorney James McManis, his partner attorney Michael Reedy (present President-Elect at the Honorable William A. Ingram American Inn of Court), their law firm, McManis Faulkner, LLP, and their attorney Janet Everson are also sued. James McManis, Michael Reedy and McManis Faulkner, LLP were Ms. Shao's family court attorneys in Ms. Shao's post judgment family court case for about 7 months after Ms. Shao was deprived of child custody in August 2010. Ms. Shao sued her attorneys with the case number of 112CV220571 pending with Santa Clara County Court, which has been stayed for jury trial since December 2015. Attorney James McManis is an attorney of Santa Clara County Court and has been working for Santa Clara County Court as a Special Master for many years.
Two local government agencies in Santa Clara County are sued. Department of Children and Family Services of Santa Clara County and its social worker Misook Oh, as well as Department of Child Support Services of Santa Clara County, its Lead Attorney Darryl Young, and deputy counsel Mary Murphy are also sued.
Besides the above named 4 attorneys and 1 law firm, 4 other attorneys are sued as well as her ex-husband Tsan-Kuen Wang: Ms. Shao's ex-husband's attorney, David Sussman, ex-child counsel BJ Fadem, present child attorney Elise Mitchell. MFT John Orlando and MFT Carole Tait-Starnes are sued as well.
Attorney Esther Chung is sued together with Kevin L. Warnock, Google, Inc. and YouTube, Inc.
Lastly, US House Judiciary Committee, US Senate Committee of Judiciary, Senator Dianne Feinstein and Representative Kevin Swalwell are sued for declarative relief about impeachment of the federal judges and employees named above.
The complaint was filed with the U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia on May 21, 2018, with the case number of 1:18-cv-01223. Ms. Shao's appeals at the US Supreme Court in 2017-18 were supported by an Amicus Curiae, Mothers of Lost Children.
Plaintiff Yi Tai Shao is a California attorney having been practiced law for more than 21 years.
In addition to her seeking impeachment of the 26 judicial officers, Ms. Shao is seeking to change the appellate system of the US from discretionary review to mandatory review. Ms. Shao came from Taiwan. "The Supreme Court in Taiwan reviews all appeals. In comparison, the US Supreme Court has reviewed less than 1% of the Petitions filed," Ms. Shao said.
