mHUB Creates New Community Partnerships to Encourage Collaboration Within Chicago's Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
CHICAGO (PRWEB) June 11, 2018 -- mHUB, the physical product innovation center that’s galvanizing the manufacturing ecosystem and creating the conditions for product innovation to thrive, today announced partnerships with some of Chicago’s leading trade and entrepreneurship organizations. The new agreements are designed to foster greater inclusion, engagement and collaboration within the region’s innovation ecosystem by creating shared resource and networking opportunities. Participating partners include: Bunker Labs, Catapult Chicago, Chicago Ideas, ITA, Product Development and Management Association (PDMA), Women’s Business Development Center, Women in Manufacturing (Chicago Chapter), Women Tech Founders. The new partners join existing community partners, MATTER, 2112, and The Polsky Center announced in April 2017.
The partnerships give partner community members access to many of mHUB’s resources, including classes and programming, mentorship and entrepreneurial training, labs and equipment, and event space. In turn, mHUB members will benefit from a wide array of partner services and resources as well as complementary programming that would be beneficial to the needs of mHUB’s physical product entrepreneurs. The ultimate goal of these partnerships is to support sustainable new businesses within the Chicagoland region.

mHUB’s 63,000-square-foot facility officially opened in March of 2017, and offers entrepreneurial programming and mentorship, along with a full product development environment, ten specialty labs including a 3D-printing lab, electronics labs, metal shop and more. mHUB has attracted over 700 community members and 100 industry and community partners, and has quickly become the central hub for the region’s vibrant manufacturing ecosystem.
