Jami Salter Turns Passion for Caring into New Caring Transitions Business in Central Nebraska
KEARNEY, Neb. (PRWEB) June 11, 2018 -- Jami Salter’s career has always been about making a difference, so when she found herself ready for her next challenge, she knew she wanted to do something that made a difference for people in her own community. Now she’s pleased to announce the launch of her new business – Caring Transitions of Central Nebraska.
Caring Transitions’ specially-trained team can handle organizing, packing, de-cluttering, moving, resettling, in-person and online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions specializes in managing senior relocations, but the services are also perfect for busy families and individuals in need of assistance. Caring Transitions of Central Nebraska serves Kearney, Grand Island, Hastings, Minden, Broken Bow, Cozad and Gothenburg.
“I have seen the need for services like Caring Transitions here in Central Nebraska, especially as older people leave their family farms for a different life in the city. Those homes are packed full of memories – my own family’s ranch has been in the family for more than 100 years – and it can be a real challenge to sort through those properties, decide what you want to keep and figure out what to do with the rest. That’s a big piece of what we do at Caring Transitions and, with our customized plans, we can help with you with any transition – no matter how big or how small,” Salter said.
Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for managing the many aspects of a senior move or for assisting with the process of downsizing to provide a safer living situation as well as for busy families and people clearing out the home of a loved one who has moved into assisted care or has passed. All of Caring Transitions’ services are customizable, so clients only pay for the services they need – whether that means managing the entire move and estate-clearing or just getting someone resettled into their new place.
“At Caring Transitions, we do more than provide services. I think, for the short period of time that we work with a client, we become part of their family. We understand that your memories are important and we do whatever it takes to get you from Point A to Point B with just one call. You are stressed enough as it is – you don’t need to worry about calling 10 different contractors when you work with Caring Transitions. We’ll take care of everything,” Salter said.
Salter and her husband, Joshua, are the founders and leaders of a local non-profit Horse Rescue in Central Nebraska and, over the last eight years, they’ve rescued and rehabilitated more than 700 horses. Salter, who grew up on a Nebraska Ranch, previously worked as a 911 operator.
“I loved my job as a 911 operator – I loved that I was the first person people would talk to at what might have been the most dire time in their life, but it wasn’t enough to make me happy. I wanted to do more and help people more. And, with the rescue, I am able to see horses in truly challenging situations who are just looking for a second chance, but it still doesn’t quite fulfill my need to help people and to make a difference. I want to see people. I want to be there, in person, connecting with clients and making their lives easier through the services we provide,” Salter said. “I’m excited to be able to do that now through Caring Transitions.”
Caring Transitions is bonded, insured and their W2 employees have been background checked. For additional information, call (308)224-2189, email [email protected] or visit http://www.CaringTransitionsCentralNE.com.
