(PRWEB) June 12, 2018 -- Elastic Path, the world leader in headless API-commerce solutions announced today they have improved their position in the Visionaries quadrant in Gartner’s 2018 Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce. For the third year in a row, Gartner recognized Elastic Path as a Visionary. This is the second year in a row that the company was positioned furthest to the right for completeness in vision and highest in ability to execute in the Visionaries quadrant.

Monetize Any Experience or Touchpoint, Now and in the Future
Elastic Path Commerce is especially suited to monetize experiences created by advanced digital experience platforms like Adobe Experience Cloud and BloomReach DXP, as well as any custom front-end. Elastic Path Commerce choreographs consistent commerce transactions across any existing web, mobile or social touchpoints as well as any emerging touchpoints, including connected vehicles and appliances, Internet of Things, wearables, chatbots and virtual assistants.

Freedom to Innovate with Remarkable Agility
Elastic Path’s advanced hypermedia API, Cortex, sets companies free to forge new commerce innovations with remarkable agility. Because business logic resides in the API layer and is decoupled from the core engine, companies can quickly react to customers' needs by adding new touchpoints to the experience, experimenting with new emerging technologies or changing promotions on-the-fly. Cortex was purpose built from the ground-up to support multiple user interfaces, requiring minimal development in client apps. Cortex also allows companies to extend beyond their boundaries to take advantage of third-party services for entirely new offerings.

Flexible Deployment Offers Choice and Scalability
Customers can deploy Elastic Path Commerce in a variety of ways including on-premise, private cloud, or public cloud. No matter how companies choose to deploy, all commerce features remain fully functional, and the platform’s flexibility is maintained. The AWS cloud deployment includes tools that combine public cloud scalability with DevOps best practices.

Roadmap to 2019
Elastic Path’s product roadmap includes a new edition tailored to take advantage of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, advanced B2B capabilities including improved B2B workflows and account structures, as well as helping companies in the early stages of their digital transformation with a new starter store.
