Weltachs Winery US Distribution Doubles After Trade Show Success Demonstrates Demand For German Wine
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PRWEB) June 14, 2018 -- Weltachs Winery’s recently-introduced, popularly-priced German wines were so well-received by distributors, gastronomy and retailers visiting the USATTB Exhibition held in New York City May 15th & 18th, 2018, that its distribution in the US is expected to double as a direct result of its participation.
According to Lars Dahlhaus, managing partner and co-founder of Liquid Projects, LLC, Weltachs’s US agency, "We experienced a very strong response to our offering. Our most tangible, immediate success is the acquisition of a new distributor for New York and New Jersey, namely, "World of Wines" whose focus is on key, off-premise retailers in New York City, Westchester, on Long Island, and with major retailer chains in New Jersey.
"World of Wines’ prime focus will be on Weltachs’ initial offerings – Rosé, off-dry Riesling, Late Harvest White, and Sweet Thorn Dornfelder Red. The soon to be released noble-sweet, raisin-berry selection Trockenbeerenauslese ("TBA") will also be included in their offering once initial shipment is received later this year.
"Strong interest in Weltachs was expressed by trade visitors from Pennsylvania where we are already in the State Beverage system on a special order basis, and by distributors from Massachusetts and even the West Coast.
"We are excited about exploring these new opportunities," Dahlhaus avers.
Given the favorable reception accorded Weltachs at the USATT, Weltachs will also be participating in the trade-only, Summer Fancy Food Show, (SFFS) June 30th – July 2nd, 2018, at the Javitts Convention Center, in New York City.
The Weltachs Stand is within the German Exhibitors Pavillion in Hall 3. Weltachs’s owner Dirk Maeurer will be on hand to show his wines and provide details regarding their provenance, vinification and elevation.
