Tech gadgets have a reputation of needing to be maintained, while at the same time lacking in fashion with annoying battery charging requirements, but Muse aims to be the stylish alternative people are looking for in a smartwatch.

The Muse hybrid smartwatch, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to track and organize daily activities like exercise monitoring, nutrition advice, meal planning, sleep information and sun exposure alerts, is now available on Kickstarter – with early-bird pricing for its first backers for the limited-edition watches.

The watches also feature music and camera control, financial services capabilities as well as personal calendar/alarm and forgotten phone notifications. Uniquely, the Muse also offers users to enjoy immersive entertainment experiences via connections to the Muse PlanetWatch platform for gaming fun.

Muse Founder and CEO Sai Prasanth says he sought to invent a product that simplified life for jetsetters, go getters and everyone who wants to maximize their productivity.

Prasanth, who is an engineering design graduate from IIT Madras, is an underwater photographer, wildlife adventurer and climbing enthusiast, having scaled Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mt. Elbrus in Russia, among other top peaks.

“Our ambition with Muse was to build a consumer product that helps people live life and get to what is really important to them,” said Prasanth, “We are all busy and hustling most days. Why not make the tasks of life easier?”

Prasanth developed Muse with co-founders Ajay Yathindra, also an alumnus of IIT Madras, and Prathyusha K, from NIT Warangal.

“Tech gadgets have a reputation of needing to be maintained, while at the same time lacking in fashion with annoying battery charging requirements,” Prasanth said. “Muse aims to be the stylish alternative people are looking for in a smartwatch.”

Muse’s AI-powered mobile app acts as a personal assistant. The hybrid smartwatch also has data-driven recommendations and services for users that also include providing restaurant recommendations, goal tracking and mapping support.

Features include:

●    Automatic Activity Recognition and Tracking
