(PRWEB) June 13, 2018 -- View®, the leader in dynamic glass, today announced it was awarded a contract by Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to install up to 500,000 square feet of smart windows in DFW’s passenger terminals. A recent study at DFW’s Gate A28 and a nearby restaurant showed that View Dynamic Glass significantly improved passenger comfort over conventional glass, resulting in an 83 percent increase in passenger dwell time at preferred gate seating and a 102 percent increase in concession sales. View Dynamic Glass also demonstrated the ability to reduce HVAC and lighting energy usage by up to 15 percent in terminals during peak periods, significantly reducing carbon emissions.
