The CELLder Wand Launches on Kickstarter – Phone Charging Just Got Magical

Starting from $25 for the Super Early Owl price (Super Early Bird), The CELLder Wand is the world’s first extendable wand power bank. Created by the team at GGTR, the power bank is designed with gamers in mind.

“With the release of magical mobile games this year, we wanted to create a power bank for gamers that is fun, functional and magical,” said Reid Covington, co-founder, GGTR.
With a 3,200 mAh lithium-ion battery, The CELLder Wand can portably charge any device and provides hours of charge time for gamers on the go.
As well as its charging capabilities, the tip of The CELLder Wand also features a LED light bulb, allowing the wand to double up as a convenient flashlight.
Lastly, it also has an extendable design so that it doesn’t sacrifice convenience for aesthetic. The wand portion collapses completely into the handle, so that it takes up little more space than a traditional power bank of comparable capacity. Then, when you want to “activate wizard mode,” the telescoping portion of the wand is spring loaded so it automatically extends at the touch of a button.
“Right now, there is no other wand-shaped power bank on the market. But we feel that The CELLder Wand is more than just a convenient charging accessory – it’s a symbol that unites witches and wizards in the real world in their passion they feel for the magical universe we all know and love.”
The CELLder Wand has been in development for more than a year and is currently in the final prototype phase. The power bank is scheduled to be shipped to backers in October, 2018.
This is the third gamer-inspired phone accessory put forward by the GGTR team. Their first product – Chargemander – was released on Kickstarter in 2016 and raised more than $160,000 USD. The team also developed and released a line of battery packs, inspired by popular games.
