St. John Properties today announced the sale of five acres in Valley Grove to Four Foods Group to meet the rapid growth needs of this award-winning restaurant development, operations, finance and management company. Four Foods Group (FFG) plans to begin construction of a new corporate headquarters on the parcel by fall. The company will also be developing a restaurant cluster housing some of the company’s fast-growing brands, including R&R Barbecue; which is slated to open in July.

“We are so happy to have such a rapidly growing U.S. company headquartered in Valley Grove,” states Daniel Thomas, regional partner for St. John Properties. “Four Foods Group is quickly rising as a superstar in the food & beverage industry and we are delighted to have their corporate headquarters and restaurants at Valley Grove.”

FFG currently owns or manages 158 restaurants in eleven states employing more than 5,000 workers, 1,500 of those in Utah. This number is expected to grow by over a thousand over the coming year. The FFG family includes local Utah chains: Kneaders Bakery & Cafe, Mo’Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food, Swig, and R&R Barbecue, with more in the works. Outside the state restaurants include 74 Little Caesars locations across the Deep South, including Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida.

“We have enjoyed Utah Valley as our home for the past 10 years. Valley Grove offers us room to expand our corporate team while staying in this region,” states Andrew K. Smith, co-founder and CEO of Four Foods Group. “It has been important for us to create a positive and safe work environment that will attract and retain our team members. I believe our new headquarters in Valley Grove will do just that.”

FFG has developed a unique and hugely successful restaurant growth model creating synergy among its partners. In 2017, Franchise Times Magazine named FFG the 3rd-fastest growing Restaurant Operator in the U.S. FFG has also been recognized as an INC 500/5000 company the past 6 years and one of UV50’ BusinessQ’s Fastest Growing Companies in Utah Valley 7 times consecutively.

Valley Grove represents a $300 Million investment of St. John Properties in Pleasant Grove City.
