AltusGroup to Exhibit Graphic Concrete, ARCIS Ultra-thin Precast Panels, CarbonCast Precast Walls at 2018 AIA Expo

AltusGroup’s booth (#1475) will feature Graphic Concrete, a patented technology that has been used in hundreds of projects across Europe, the Nordics and Australia. Available exclusively in North America through AltusGroup precasters, Graphic Concrete technology allows architects to impart durable patterns and images onto precast surfaces such as facades, walls, spandrels and soundwalls. ARCIS panels are engineered and configured for rainscreen façades, decking and other applications where architects desire the strength of precast concrete in a remarkably lightweight configuration. The versatile, flexible, durable and aesthetically pleasing panels range from only .75” to 2” in thickness. Patented ARCIS panels use non-corrosive, high-strength, aerospace-grade stainless steel prestressing and a novel manufacturing process to ensure strength, crack control and superior durability.
These two new technologies complement AltusGroup’s CarbonCast insulated exterior wall offerings, which feature carbon fiber grid wythe connectors to deliver continuous insulation and full composite, load-bearing performance. CarbonCast has been used on nearly 500 projects nationwide.
