Emerson to lead Hostway’s global field sales and channels organizations

Emerson will lead Hostway’s global field sales and channels organizations. His focus will be to drive Hostway revenue growth globally, both directly and through partners. Emerson joins Hostway from Zenoss, where he served as VP, Sales and ran worldwide sales and channels, leading the team to record results while tripling the company’s channel sales.

With more than 30 years of sales, business development and channels experience at public and pre-IPO companies, Emerson is a seasoned leader who has built high-performing organizations across both vertical markets and geographies. Earlier in his career, Emerson was VP, Channels & Global Alliances for EMC with worldwide responsibility for global systems integrator partners and Americas channels partners. Prior to EMC, he was the first VP of Sales and Business Development for Troux Technologies (acquired by Planview). There he built the sales and channels organizations from the ground up and helped Troux achieve more than $15 million in revenue. Emerson studied in the computer-based management systems bachelor's program at Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y.
