Lucas Group Places Chief Financial Officer at Fooda

Founded in 2011, Fooda is a rapidly expanding late-stage venture with $34.2 million in funding. Casciola will play a critical role in Fooda’s continued growth, overseeing finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, internal audit and treasury.

Casciola most recently served as Vice President and Corporate Controller at VaaS, Inc., a preeminent provider of license plate recognition products and data solutions. Casciola spearheaded accounting operational improvements, fostered a strong teamwork-based corporate culture, and provided strategic leadership within the business. Prior to VaaS, Casciola held several senior accounting and finance positions in the United States and Europe, including at Groupon and Ernst & Young.
