Pinellas, Florida’s 8th largest school district, recently chose PowerSchool to modernize its financial and human resources procedures. PowerSchool Finance and HR will replace Pinellas’ current software solution to streamline budgeting, purchasing, and human resource processes for the 100,000 students and 15,000 staff members of the district.

Lechner noted an extended amount of time is needed in their current system to generate and mail a purchase order. District leaders were looking for a more efficient solution that makes purchasing easier for staff across the 135 schools the district serves.
