Representatives with Water Blossom Creations LLC, a Fairfax Station, Virginia-based company, said its root watering tool, Water Blossom, created quite a buzz at The Bizarre Bazaar and the Occoquan Spring Arts and Crafts Show.
“These were two of the finest events being held this spring and we consider it an honor to walk away with so many positive reviews and interest,” said Pamela Riffe, president and spokesperson for Water Blossom Creations, LLC, a company that invented, manufactures and distributes the Water Blossom decorative root watering tool.
The Bizarre Bazaar Spring Show was held in Richmond, Va., April 6-8 and The Occoquan Spring Arts and Crafts Show was held in Occoquan, Va., June 2-3.
The Bizarre Bazaar is a unique craft and gift show that has been a Virginia tradition for more than 42 years and has been rated by Sunshine Artist Magazine, as the number 3 show in the country in its list of Top 200 shows. It features seasonal gifts and decorative accessories for the home and garden, gourmet food and cookbooks, fine linens, designer women's and children's clothing, toys, fine crafts and artwork, furniture and jewelry.
The Occoquan Arts & Crafts Show, according to Riffe, is one of the finest shows on the East Coast and a must for anyone who loves the craft show experience. The show has been an annual event for over 25 years, and is hosted by the Town of Occoquan, located along the Occoquan River, a site that’s full of history.
“We introduced our Water Blossoms to the public in both places,” Riffe revealed, before adding, “We received overwhelming positive comments by customers and non-customers. Customers praised our product and were excited to buy them, not only for themselves, but as gifts. Water Blossoms are great gifts for any gardener.”
Riffe went on to note that Water Blossom was well received and sold more than anticipated in both locations. “We will be returning later this year for the September 29-30 show in Occoquan and the Bizarre Bizaar Christmas Market in Nov. 29 through Dec. 2.”
“Customers were amazed at how beautiful they are, and that Water Blossoms are also functional,” Riffe said. “There is nothing on the market like the Water Blossom decorative root watering tool.”
Riffe explained that at the Occoquan show, the rainy weather put a damper on crowds over the weekend; Saturday was mostly sunny, but heavy rain was forecasted, and thunderstorms blew in about 3 pm, forcing the show to close early.
“Sunday, all day, was a very wet and windy day, however, the weekend as a whole we did extremely well,” Riffe said. “The visitors were so nice and pleasant, and we enjoyed talking with them. And the rain allowed customers a first-hand look at how Water Blossom works!”
As an exhibitor, Water Blossom Creations committed to donating 10 percent of its profits from its pink Water Blossoms, the Jazmine Fuchsia and Emily Pink Slipper, to Relay for Life, the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
