CargoSense Teams With Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions To Collaborate On Next-Generation Logistics Visibility Solution
(PRWEB) June 19, 2018 -- CargoSense, Inc., a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company that provides logistics oversight for supply chain networks, today announced that it is collaborating with Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions to offer a next-generation logistics solution targeting joint customers across several different industries.
With the increased complexity of global supply chains worldwide, there is a growing need for next-generation logistics oversight solutions that deliver greater transparency, traceability and trust for customers shipping high-value cargo. Moreover, companies are increasingly seeking a solution that can leverage historical shipment data to provide detailed insight into global logistics operations and cargo handling best practices.
This global partnership will utilize the CargoSense platform and Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions’ Transport Data Logger (TDL) to monitor the health and status of high-value cargo by tracking and analyzing temperature, humidity, tilt and shock readings. As the world's leading supplier of MEMS sensors, Bosch is ideally positioned to support the sensor needs of the Internet of Things. CargoSense will also enable TDL customers to detect patterns in environmental conditions and transportation movement utilizing advanced machine learning techniques.
“We are excited to add Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions to our partner ecosystem creating a strong solution to improve logistics oversight,” said CargoSense’s CEO, Richard Kilmer. “We believe our joint solution will contribute considerable and lasting value to both existing and new Bosch TDL customers.”
“We are excited to announce this partnership with CargoSense. We believe our TDL combined with the CargoSense platform will provide customers greater insight into their business by allowing greater visibility and oversight into the transport and logistics process,” said Bosch Connected Devices and Solutions General Manager, Marco Lang. “We strongly believe that collaboration and interoperability are key enablers to scale IoT solutions, and this cooperation is key for the connected logistics space.”
