Spector will support clients in areas such as operations, strategic alliances and partnerships, strategic sourcing and procurement, and logistics and supply chain effectiveness.

Leveraging a 30-year career spanning a full range of corporate posts and advisory roles, Spector brings a unique vision to Jackson Hole Group clients in need of strengthening, expanding, or starting up operations. With skills built from inside leading distribution, manufacturing, and technology companies, Spector teams up with clients to resolve operations, sourcing/contracting, partnering, supply chain, and logistics issues to support growth and meet strategic goals.
Often called upon to facilitate change, Spector has spearheaded international expansion programs, led critical outsourcing initiatives, negotiated strategic alliances and partnerships, and participated in M&A. Notable in his background is over a decade as corporate legal counsel, valuable roles in international logistics management, pragmatic experience as a technology sales account executive, and academic experience as an adjunct university professor. Companies in which he has held key management positions include Grainger, Thomson Multimedia (formerly RCA), and Savi Technology. As a consultant Spector has advised a wide variety of for-profit and mission-driven enterprises.
Spector has first-hand start-up and entrepreneurial experience, including several new ventures with an attendant social impact agenda. Taking advantage of his skill as a coach and sailor, Spector co-founded an organization to teach sailing and yacht racing to San Francisco Bay Area’s blind and vision-impaired community. In addition to becoming one of the country’s largest programs to teach blind sailing, his students have competed in many blind sailing regattas, including several at the U.S. and World Championship levels.
Spector holds a BA in Economics from the University of California-Berkeley, a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado, an Executive MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and is a member of the state bars of Colorado and Illinois. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program. Spector also holds a United States Coast Guard license as a Merchant Marine Officer.
