HOUSTON (PRWEB) June 21, 2018
OilComm and FleetComm 2018, where the major players in energy, maritime, and transportation communities come together to learn about the capabilities of the next generation of communication technologies, will be held October 3-4, 2018 at the Houston Marriott Westchase in Houston, TX. The OilComm and FleetComm conference program’s focus this year is how to marry new technologies to your business, with special emphasis on the impact of automation & machine-learning, cyber-security business cases, and IT/OT convergence strategies.
This is the first year OilComm and FleetComm 2018 will be hosting Startup Space, a competition where entrepreneurs pitch their business and technology ideas to a panel of highly accomplished energy, maritime, and transportation professionals, investors, thought leaders, and fellow entrepreneurs. The event is open to all OilComm and FleetComm attendees.
Only ten lucky applicants will be chosen to give a five-minute pitch for their company or product in front of a panel of judges followed by a five-minute period during which judges will ask questions or make comments to the contestants. The winners and prizes will be awarded at the Thursday night, and the single contestant with the highest overall score will be named the contest winner and will receive the grand prize. If you’re an innovative entrepreneur who’s looking to change the future of communication connectivity, enter now to make a difference at Startup Space!
