Commuter Air Technology Receives Pro Patria Award: Highest U.S. Government Honor for Employers
OKLAHOMA CITY (PRWEB) June 25, 2018 -- Commuter Air Technology (CAT), a Meta Special Aerospace (MSA) company and global provider of customized aircraft modifications for commercial and government applications, was recently honored with the Pro Patria Award. Presented by the Oklahoma State’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) committee, the Pro Patria is the highest honor given to employers for support of Guard and Reserve employees.

On behalf of the Secretary of Defense, the Oklahoma ESGR committee presents the Pro Patria Award as the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their support of their employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve. Almost one-half of the U.S. military is comprised of the Guard and Reserve. The Department of Defense shares these citizen warriors with their civilian employers, many of whom provide significant support to their employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve.
ESGR’s Pro Patria Award is presented annual by each State Committee to one small, one large, and one public sector employer in their state or territory. Recipients have demonstrated the greatest support of Guard and Reserve employees through their leadership and practices, including adopting personnel policies that make it easier for employees to participate in the National Guard and Reserve.
