Small Business Expo Announces Record Attendance and Growth in H1 2018
NEW YORK (PRWEB) June 26, 2018 -- Today, Small Business Expo (SBE), the nation’s largest small business networking and educational event in the country announced record growth for the group’s shows in the first half of 2018, with key cities including New York City, Philadelphia and Dallas seeing significant increases in both exhibitor and attendee registration. The continued momentum speaks to demand among the nation’s growing small business market for the insight and learnings provided during these events.
Philadelphia experienced a 42 percent increase YoY in attendees of the expo, with Dallas seeing a 17 percent and New York City – the organization’s largest show each year – also growing by 5 percent. Each location saw similar growth in exhibitor numbers as well, A key factor driving Small Business Expo’s attendee growth over the last year has been the caliber of sponsors and speakers lending their expertise to the visitors, including Google, HSBC, United Healthcare, Constant Contact and Allstate. In response to this rise in interest, the SBE is planning to build on momentum from 2018 and plans in 2019 to expand from 15 cities to 20 across the Nation.

According to the U.S. Small Business Administration, in 2016 there were more than 28.8 million small businesses in the United States, accounting for 99.7% of all of the country’s business – that number had since grown to approximately 30 million by early 2018.
