Silicon Valley-based Duo, Chill.Systems, Launches Game-Changing Iceless Beverage Cooler
SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) June 26, 2018 -- Traditional coolers fall short on style and ease of use; they’re bulky, unattractive, and inconvenient to transport. And worst of all, they require constant refills of ice. Founded by two young entrepreneurs trained at Google and Apple, Chill.Systems offers outdoor adventurers the ultimate, ice-free way to keep beverages cold while on the go. The two-part system, comprised of The Chiller and The Chiller’s Pack, launched on Kickstarter today with a goal of raising $50,000 in 50 days.
The Chiller is a football-sized device with freezing gel built in. It cools room temperature beverages in just half an hour and keeps them cold all day. Each Chiller fits three standard 12oz. beer/soda cans or bottles or a wide variety of larger 750ml. to 1L wine and spirit bottles. Chill.Systems is also offering The Chiller’s Pack, which is specifically designed to accommodate a Chiller plus a 6-pack of cans or a hydration bladder. Even without The Chiller, it’s a stylish, ultra-portable backpack cooler with top and back access and plenty of pockets.
Having studied business at USC Marshall, the founders behind Chill.Systems had an experience that illuminated the opportunity to solve “the cooler problem” faced by their peers. “We were attending the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, in San Francisco, where concert-goers bring their own blankets, lawn chairs and coolers to enjoy a free day of music in the park,” explained Co-founder Chase Mitchell. “We watched as attendees struggled through the muddy lawn dragging large and unwieldy coolers. We imagined a better way to keep drinks cold out in the wild, and got to work designing it.”
The Chiller eliminates the use of ice through its internal cooling system, which chills drinks up to 20 degrees per hour and keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours when used with The Chiller’s Pack. The complete Chiller’s Pack (including The Chiller and insulated backpack) is now available for pre-order starting at $119 by visiting http://bit.ly/ChillerKS.
