L.L.Bean to Open Retail Store at Mountain Farms in Hadley, Massachusetts
FREEPORT, Maine (PRWEB) June 26, 2018 -- Global outdoor retailer L.L.Bean, best known for its L.L.Bean Boots and world class customer service, announced a new Massachusetts retail location will open in the fall of 2019. The L.L.Bean store will be located at Mountain Farms, a premiere open air shopping and dining destination in Hadley, Massachusetts. The approximately 15,000-square-foot store will feature an assortment of active and casual apparel, outerwear and footwear, as well as gear for outdoor enthusiasts. The store will employ approximately 50 people and be a community resource for outdoor skills and knowledge, as well as high-quality gear and apparel.
“The Pioneer Valley has outstanding outdoor recreation opportunities, as well as people who love to get out and enjoy the outdoors,” said Greg Elder, retail vice president at L.L.Bean. “We look forward to showcasing our products and sharing our expertise both with longtime customers and those who may experience our brand for the first time.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome L.L.Bean to Mountain Farms as yet another best-in-class retailer that will perfectly complement our current retail mix,” said Dan Hester, development manager at Mountain Farms. “L.L.Bean will be a great asset to the community in Hadley, especially those who use the Norwottuck Rail Trail that passes behind the property.”
L.L.Bean currently operates stores in Boston, Burlington, Dedham, Mansfield and Mashpee, Massachusetts. The Hadley store will be its sixth in the state. Each store features Outdoor Discovery Programs to teach skills and offer new experiences of outdoor activities, all to empower people to share in the joy of the outdoors.
The outdoor company has experienced significant popularity on college campuses in recent years, driven in part by its Maine-made L.L.Bean Boots. The Hadley store will be centrally located for the schools of the Five College Consortium.
The new store will enable people of western Massachusetts and beyond to experience firsthand everything the legendary outdoor retailer offers: quality merchandise, exemplary customer service, a welcoming shopping environment and a commitment to always do what’s right by its customers, employees, the community and the environment.
