Skilled nursing and rehabilitation center Windsor Gardens Rehabilitation Center of Salinas recognizes decade of committed service by veteran employee Mary Robinson and renames their sub-acute unit in her honor.

Windsor Gardens Rehabilitation Center of Salinas (“Windsor Salinas”), a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located in Salinas, CA announced today the dedication of the Mary Robinson Sub-Acute Unit in honor of employee Mary Robinson for her outstanding service.
Robinson began working as Director of Operations for SnF Management, LLC, a management consulting company to Windsor Salinas, in January, 2007. Seven years later, she was hired at Windsor Salinas as their Senior Administrator. In June, 2016, Robinson was promoted to director of Sub-Acute Programs at Windsor Salinas overseeing operational workflow for the care and services of ventilated and acutely comprised patients.
To recognize the commitment and value that Robinson brought to patients, families and countless employees throughout her tenure with Windsor Salinas over the past decade, Windsor hosted a special dedication ceremony at Windsor Salinas. It selected the renaming of the Sub-Acute Unit as the most appropriate way to honor Robinson’s service. As Pam Norris, Regional Clinical Director for Windsor, explained, “We gave the loving gift of a living legacy to a very special woman.”
Over 120 friends, family members and co-workers attended the dedication ceremony. A musical reception was followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony of the renamed unit, and a speech by Rachyl Bruton, Administrator at another Windsor care center, The Ridge. Bruton spoke about Robinson’s role and influence in the organization.
“Mary has been my mentor, colleague, and friend for over 20 years,” says Bruton. “Mary decorated and helped design the Rehabilitation Home Transitional Care Unit in The Ridge, while at the same time worked on the respiratory unit at Windsor Gardens Salinas. She has always been project-driven, available to answer questions and share her knowledge, 24-7. I have tremendous gratitude for everything she has done for me, my employees, and the rest of Windsor. “
