Lumenera Releases New High Performance INFINITY5 Series to Their Family of Microscope Cameras

These high performance global shutter CMOS microscope cameras are available now in 3.2 and 5.1 megapixel resolution in both color and monochrome versions.

The INFINITY5 series is based on the Sony® Pregius™ global shutter CMOS sensor that rivals sCMOS technology. With fast focusing at high frame rates of up to 120 frames per second for the INFINITY5-3 and up to 75 frames per second for the INFINITY5-5, the INFINITY5 series cameras perform in a wide range of applications.
The INFINITY5 series cameras are equipped with dual output to HDMI and USB 3 which allows the INFINITY5 series to simultaneously connect to both a computer and HDMI TV or monitor for applications where knowledge sharing is critical. On board soft-touch response buttons provide ease of use for controlling the camera with or without a connection to a computer.
The INFINITY5 series cameras come ready to perform with INFINITY CAPTURE software for routine imaging needs, including camera setting adjustments, live preview, image capture, and video clips. The INFINITY5 series also provides third-party interoperability with MetaMorph® and Micro-Manager microscopy software, with additional interoperability coming in the near future.
