EagleView OnSite™ Integral to Allstate Winning Novarica Impact Award
BOTHELL, Wash. This award is presented to a carrier who is utilizing technology to better service their customers and the claims industry. A panel of more than 50 CIO members from the Novarica Insurance Technology Research Council reviews nominations and selects award recipients annually. The winners are chosen based on their disruption and improvement of the overall claims insurance process.
In 2017, EagleView designed and built a virtual claims inspection solution to improve the efficiency of property insurance claims following a catastrophic event. This solution included the use of high-resolution aerial imagery captured from various sources, such as drones and fixed-wing aircraft, as well as data analytics to improve the cycle time of closing of claims.

This virtual claims inspection solution is known as EagleView® OnSite. By working with EagleView, an innovator in the aerial imagery and data analytics space, Allstate was able to leverage imagery and data from multiple sources including fixed-wing aircraft and drones. This enabled adjusters to more quickly and efficiently triage claims, virtually inspect properties from their desktops, and ultimately close property and casualty claims faster than ever before.
Since partnering with EagleView for virtual claims inspection, Allstate has improved the cycle time from first notice of loss (FNOL) to settlement for wind or hail claims by 30 to 40 percent and has increased overall adjuster efficiency by 50 to 60 percent.

This innovative solution shined in the Data/Analytics category with its integration of EagleView’s high-resolution aerial imagery and roof and wall measurement reports into Allstate’s existing claims workflow.
