Mediaplanet Announces Executive Education and Leadership Development campaign, Featuring the Coalition on Basic Adult Education
NEW YORK (PRWEB) June 28, 2018 -- Mediaplanet today announces the launch of this June’s edition of “Executive Education and Leadership Development.” Continued education comes in many forms, and the campaign discusses the variety of continued ed opportunities and programs that exist for perspective students and adults around the country. Mediaplanet has partnered with the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE) to highlight the steep number of illiterate adults in the US. Many of these adults are not receiving the help and continued education required to build job skills and advance their careers.
Starting on June 28th, featured within the San Francisco Chronicle and on Mediaplanet's digital content hub, COABE shares how adult education providers are working to educate our adult population and allow them to gain real-life job experience, as well as basic math and reading skills. COABE urges private sector partners to rally around helping the tens of millions of adults in America elevate their careers through continued learning, to excel in their profession and eventually grow the middle class and America’s businesses and economy. Initiatives, such as those put in place by McDonald’s English Under the Arches program and Walmart’s GEDWorks program, are working towards supporting their workforces by providing basic education for adults in their communities. Other initiatives are brought on by companies such as Dakota Provisions, a processing facility in Huron, South Dakota. Dakota Provisions partnered with Cornerstones Career Learning Center’s English Language Acquisition program to help employees enhance and build upon their language skills. This initiative will guide these employees in the process of advancing in their jobs and will aid them in real world skills.
