Experiential Marketing Agency Poised to Undergo Explosive Growth as It Celebrates 20th Anniversary

BeCore, the rapidly growing experiential marketing agency, today announced that Steve Dupee has been hired as President of the company. Dupee is a veteran of engagement marketing agency GMR where, most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Business Development.

as we enter our third decade.”

Dupee’s hire comes at a particularly pivotal time for BeCore as there is a growing recognition among marketers of the very real value of hands-on consumer experiences to a brand’s bottom line, which is what BeCore specializes in.

“Experiential marketing’s ability to seamlessly blend analog and digital technologies to enrich human connection and create meaningful memories will only grow as we continue leveraging technologies such as augmented reality and artificial intelligence,” said BeCore CEO Billik.

BeCore’s impressive growth is emblematic of growth in the experiential marketing category as a whole. The Event Marketing Institute notes that 77% of marketers use experiential marketing as an essential component of their brands’ advertising efforts, and that 79% of brands believe that they will include more experiential initiatives in their marketing mix this year than in 2017.

Dupee joins BeCore after more than 15 years at GMR Marketing where he began in client consulting and services, leading the sponsorship and experiential marketing efforts of Miller Brewing Company, Comcast and Hershey’s, eventually advancing to Executive Vice President, responsible for all business development and marketing communications for the agency. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, Dupee has been recognized as a top “Forty under 40” sponsorship executive by both the Sports Business Journal and Milwaukee Business Journal.
