Docking Drawer Releases Smaller, One Size Fits All, In-Drawer Charging Outlets
SAN RAMON, Calif. (PRWEB) June 29, 2018 -- Docking Drawer, a subsidiary of JTech Solutions Inc., just announced their newest Blade and Blade Duo series in-drawer charging outlets that are now significantly smaller and come in just one size that easily fits into most standard cabinet layouts.
The updated Blade Series in-drawer outlet design allows them to be installed in the center of the drawer, instead of to one side, and the substantially smaller Blade Duo series makes charging more devices in less space even easier. The new Blade and Blade Duo series outlets are 100% backwards compatible with existing Blade 2419, 2118, 1817 and Slim Series outlet specifications. The substantially smaller size of the outlet assembly allows these new charging outlets to fit into narrower base cabinets, starting at just 15” wide. Both the Blade and Blade Duo still only require just 2” of space behind the drawer box, allowing them to fit into most standard cabinet layouts without needing to shorten or heavily modify the drawer box.
Having in-drawer charging outlets now come in just one size for any cabinet depths up to 24” eliminates the need to select outlet sizes depending on cabinet depth. With no more size confusion, the selection process is faster and simpler so an in-drawer outlet can be more easily specified into every project.

As with all Docking Drawer products, these new releases have been designed with safety at the forefront and are ETL listed to the UL 62a standard and outlets with just USB ports are CSA - 22.2 listed.
The new Docking Drawer Blade Series will be available to purchase starting July 1, 2018. Due to the superior specifications of the new Blade and Blade Duo, the older Blade Series models that comes in varying sizes, as well as the Slim series charging outlets, will begin to phase out.
