American Physician Partners Acquires Kalamazoo Emergency Associates
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (PRWEB) July 06, 2018 -- American Physician Partners, LLC (“American Physician Partners” or “APP”), a leader in emergency medicine and hospital medicine management services, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Kalamazoo Emergency Associates, P.C., effective June 29, 2018. Through this relationship, American Physician Partners will assume the emergency department management services for the following facilities in Michigan:
• Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, a Level II Trauma Center
• Borgess-Pipp Hospital in Plainwell
• Borgess at Woodbridge Hills Immediate Medical Center in Portage, an urgent care center
• Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, a Level III Trauma Center
Oaklawn is an independently owned not-for-profit hospital, and the three Borgess facilities expand upon American Physician Partners existing relationship with Ascension, the largest not-for-profit health system in the U.S.
These new contracts combined represent approximately 111,000 annual emergency department patient visits and more than 50 new physicians and advanced practice providers.
