Join BATMAN™, SUPERMAN™ and WONDER WOMAN™ to Discover Your Super Powers at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (PRWEB) June 30, 2018 -- Visitors to The Children's Museum of Indianapolis can discover their own super powers and serve up justice!
BATMAN™, SUPERMAN™ and WONDER WOMAN™ are just a few of the DC COMIC™ heroes who will swoop in to serve as inspiration while children and families are the stars of the show in DC Super Heroes: Discover your Super Powers, which will remain open through November 25, 2018.
Families are encouraged to grab their capes and go on an adventure as “reserve super heroes.” Children and their grownups will use new skills and learn the importance of teamwork at the HALL OF JUSTICE™ Headquarters as they work together to solve problems and catch villains in a series of fast-paced challenges.
“The characters of the DC UNIVERSE™ are iconic symbols of teamwork, self-discovery, strength, and justice that inspire children and families to be more than we are, and do more than we thought we could,” said Dr. Jeffrey H. Patchen, president and CEO, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. “When we combine our strengths and help to compensate for each other’s weaknesses, we can overcome our obstacles together.”
Teamwork is just one element of success. When we challenge ourselves mentally and physically, we can gain new skills and learn more about ourselves. Just like the real world – it takes all kinds to make this super human world successful. Instead of picking apart differences, working together like THE FLASH™ GREEN LANTERN™, CYBORG™ and AQUAMAN™ do – helps us learn to use differences for a greater good.
Brave recruits learn that they have been called on by the JUSTICE LEAGUE™ to train to make the world a safer place by battling villains in the fictional, crime-infested city. Children and their grown-ups will assist super heroes in solving problems and catching villains in a series of fast-paced challenges. Families are invited to take a personality quiz to see which superhero they are most like. In the HALL OF JUSTICE™, visitors can lift a building with the help of green screen technology and send a video home for friends to see. In one scenario, visitors are encouraged to help BATMAN™ in Gotham City. The JOKER™ sabotaged the Bat-Signal and families can help fix it or work with WONDER WOMAN™ to rescue artifacts that THE CHEETAH™ stole from the Museum of Ancient History.
