Weatherbee Resources Announces Change of Ownership Effective July 1, 2018
HYANNIS, Mass. (PRWEB) June 29, 2018 -- Since 1997, Weatherbee Resources, Inc. has provided innovative products and consulting services to hospices across the country. To continue Weatherbee's mission to help hospices navigate increasing regulatory scrutiny and operational challenges, the founders and owners of Weatherbee, Heather Wilson, PhD and Joy Barry, M.Ed. are transferring ownership of the company, effective July 1, 2018, to two of its senior executive employees - Carrie Cooley, RN, MSN and Lynn Stange, RN, BSN, MA, CHC.
"We considered a number of different succession opportunities before we realized that the best plan was to ask Carrie and Lynn to assume ownership of Weatherbee. These two talented and committed leaders will ensure that Weatherbee will continue to provide the same high level of services that we have provided for the past 21 years," states Heather Wilson.
The past several months has involved careful planning and a great deal of work to ensure that the transition to the new owners will be seamless. "Having worked very closely with Carrie and Lynn for many years in Weatherbee's Consulting Division, I have every confidence that they are the most qualified and capable people in the country to lead Weatherbee into the future," said Joy Barry.
Lynn and Carrie have significant hospice experience, having both worked in hospices and, for many years, in various positions with Weatherbee. They are regular faculty members at Weatherbee's renowned Hospice Regulatory Boot Camps as well as popular speakers at many state and national hospice conferences.
Moving into the future, the "new" Weatherbee Resources will continue responding to changes in the hospice regulatory environment. "Both Carrie and I consider it a privilege and honor to continue Weatherbee Resources' tradition of providing quality services and support to hospices throughout the United States for many years to come," states Lynn Stange.
"Heather and Joy have devoted the past 21 years of their professional lives to serving Weatherbee's clients and the hospice industry. Having worked alongside them for many years, Lynn and I, along with our amazing team members, are so humbled and excited to continue the legacy of Weatherbee Resources," added Carrie Cooley.
Weatherbee will be headquartered in Las Vegas, NV with a home and billing office in Alabama. Other than that logistical change, it will be "business as usual" on July 2, 2018 when Weatherbee Resources opens its doors, turns on the phones, and begins its next chapter.
