Track5Media Expands into Florida with Second Location
LANCASTER, Pa. (PRWEB) July 10, 2018 -- Track5Media, LLC is expanding its footprint out-of-state with a new location in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Lancaster-based technology company opened a brand-new location in June to meet its growing need for highly talented web developers.
Opening a location in St. Petersburg happened by chance. After an extensive recruitment search across the country, Track5Media was surprised to find several qualified developers in Florida. So, Track5Media didn’t choose Florida – Florida chose Track5Media.
“St. Petersburg is an up and coming technical hub in a beautiful, large metropolitan area that still seems like home,” Track5Media President Oliver Feakins said. “The proximity to Tampa, Sarasota, Clearwater and outlying areas make it a really attractive location… ohh, and the beaches are awesome!”
The approximately 1,400-square-foot tech hub in Florida currently houses five employees with more to come. Austin Smith, the director of development, oversees the Florida operations. Smith works closely with team members in Lancaster to maintain the same quality and culture that exist at headquarters.
“We are thrilled to now be able to call St. Petersburg our second home,” Smith said. “Tampa Bay is rapidly transforming into a center for technology and it offers a unique waterfront lifestyle that makes for a highly desirable place for our employees to live and work. We considered many cities throughout this process but it was clearly evident that St. Petersburg was the ideal choice for our expansion.”
Collectively, Track5Media has 20 full time employees and three interns. Landing at 1501 on the 2017 Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies in 2017, Track5Media continues to see exceptional growth year over year. Due to increased volume, the firm is still looking for more developers and graphic designers. Its vision is that by having two locations, it will be able to attract technical talent from a larger pool, according to Feakins.
