They were fantastic problem solvers! No other hosting provider could come even close to the level of expertise and quality of services offered by Tenzing.

FranklinPlanner partnered with Tenzing to migrate their Oracle Commerce-powered website from their previous solution hosted on bare metal to a more flexible AWS cloud infrastructure. Further enhanced by Tenzing’s AWS and Oracle Commerce application expert support, the new solution resulted in 40% savings in hosting and support costs as well as improved scalability enabling a faster pace of innovation and development for FranklinPlanner.
The new site went live two weeks ahead of schedule. In addition to cost reduction, FranklinPlanner now completes network changes within days instead of weeks and the tickets are handled much faster than with the previous hosting provider.
In early 2018, Tenzing merged with Sparkred and Thinkwrap to create one of the largest premium Oracle Commerce / ATG professional and managed services providers in the world. The newly combined expertise of Tenzing delivered a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for FranklinPlanner which included round-the-clock Managed Application Services (MAS), the flexibility of AWS and the confidence in their site’s ability to handle traffic that load testing provided.
“We have a small IT team and needed a trusted partner who could provide ongoing management and optimization of the Oracle Commerce application while also taking care of the servers’ maintenance. As a result of the merger, we will now be getting Spark::red’s and Tenzing’s managed hosting expertise as well as access to a suite of optimization services offered by Thinkwrap - all at a reasonable cost. No other hosting provider could come even close to the level of expertise and quality of services offered by Tenzing.” - Jared Lee, VP eCommerce FranklinPlanner.
By delivering MAS, hosting, load testing and systems integration all under one roof, Tenzing offered FranklinPlanner a partnership that resulted in higher efficiency and quality of interaction between teams. FranklinPlanner had direct communication with Tenzing’s development team and was able to quickly reach the right person with the most knowledge for each step of the project start to finish.
By leveraging AWS, Tenzing delivered the flexibility and scalability that FranklinPlanner needed to innovate while retaining the stability and performance of a traditional bare metal solution.
"They were fantastic problem solvers. It is very reassuring when you are going into this kind of project when you have staff that can not only identify but also fix the problem instead of going around the whole road of, “well we cannot fix it but we will pass it on to our Tier 3 support”. We felt like we already had the best support team on staff throughout the whole project.” - Jared Lee, VP eCommerce FranklinPlanner.
