Emily Tyler, a senior accountant at Hagen, Streiff, Newton & Oshiro (HSNO), an international forensic accounting firm, celebrates her five-year anniversary with the company this year.
As a valued member of the firm’s Atlanta, Georgia office, Tyler started as a temporary employee with the potential to hire. After demonstrating her skills through her hard work, she was quickly hired on as a full-time employee and served as a staff accountant for close to two years before being promoted to a senior accountant in 2014.
Tyler’s primary duties at HSNO center around business income/interruption (BI) calculations and property damage (PD) losses. She deals directly with insurance adjusters on reviewing claims, which requires a great deal of communication skills. Tyler also manages staff and interns working at the Atlanta office, sharing her own experience to help others advance their careers with HSNO.
Tyler began working with HSNO after graduating with her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration - Accounting from Georgia College & State University. When initially going through the interview process, she knew HSNO was a perfect fit for her.
“Upon meeting with the HSNO partners in the Atlanta office, I liked what they had to say about the company and how the organization was structured,” said Tyler. “I immediately got the sense that they are good people who wanted the best for their clients and employees. I’m so proud to be a part of the HSNO Atlanta office.”
“At HSNO, we seek out employees who are knowledgeable, hardworking, and care about our clients,” said HSNO partner, Christopher Money. “Emily Tyler inhabits all of those traits. We are happy to have her as part of our team and celebrate her five-year anniversary with the company.”
