New Art Instruction Video Released by Bob Rohm About Secrets to Successful Paintings
BOCA RATON, Fla. (PRWEB) July 11, 2018 -- Liliedahl Art Videos has just released a new instructional video from Bob Rohm titled “Secrets to Successful Paintings.” (A link to a promotional video for review is below.)
The video includes Bob’s step-by-step process for how to paint a glowing forest of autumn Aspen trees from start to finish, with techniques along the way artists can apply to any subject for successful results
The video begins as Bob shares his limited palette of colors — only four colors plus white and gray can be used to create a successful painting. And it helps keep the painting harmonious. Artists will learn how using a limited value range of color will keep the painting from becoming too busy, and how how to identify color as warm or cool. Artists will then follow along as Bob creates the basic drawing and underpainting that establishes the major construction of the scene. Then move to modifying those shapes. They will learn how to add texture and establish the final contrasts and highlights. The result is a proven road map for creating successful paintings.
“You have solved the issues of painting when you have your lightest light, sharpest edge, good value range, darkest dark, and a good composition. Detail, texture, and color variety are subjective.” — Bob Rohm
